ABOUT

we are what's known as a Dissociative Identity Disorder system, composed of 43 members (as of writing this). we're all very different individuals, and despite a lot of modern media says, we're people, each and every one of us- not personalities. this isn't always true for all systems, nor is it something every system classifies themselves as, but that's us.our DID comes hand in hand with C-PTSD, and a childhood trauma history big enough to fill a massive novel. we're on a constant quest for recovery, and one of our recent endeavors is to be more open about plurality, and include it more readily in our creative works! we're a family, so we may as well bring some teamwork to our art.so much media featuring DID and multiplicity as a whole has a focus on it being scary, or dangerous, or of course- "oh no, look how craaazy." we know that a lot of the misconceptions out there don't come from malice, and more from just not knowing better. this is a huge part of why we're opening up about this- visibility Matters.through our new commission system, we offer both ringor's usual commissions, as well as special offers from other system members in order to help train them, help them discover their personal styles, and make it easier for the whole system to contribute to our projects and income.by supporting us, you're both helping us grow as artists and as a team, as well as helping us pay bills. this means the world to us, and we can't thank you enough for ordering, or even just looking at or spreading our work- everything helps. seriously.here in the skinstealer system, we have a personal philosophy of putting our all into our work: we want clients to come away with something they couldn't get anywhere else; everyone out there has their own style and experiences to pull from, and the same goes for us in here. it's our personal promise to give you our best, even if it means delays and heavy amounts of correspondence. when you order from the skinstealers, we want you to know you're getting something made with heart.

here are our official terms of service: please, follow these rules! they're here to make the process go smoother for both parties, and are required for commission orders.- commissions, unless otherwise specified, are for personal use only.- due to the nature of our physical/chronic illness, there is not a set time for commission completion, and your patience is very much appreciated. we will do our best to get you your art in a timely manner, but with severe and unpredictable disability, things happen. we will communicate with you as much as possible about your commission, and questions/check-ins are welcome! - while we allow for edits as we go, once a commission has been cleared past a stage (ex: sketch stage, initial line, final line, color, shading), edits cannot be made to the previous stage! if you clear a commission's sketch, you cannot ask for massive changes during the lineart stage, and so on.- please provide ref sheets at the time of ordering illustrations or any other relevant commissions- we do Not work with descriptions, period.- we reserve the right to reject any commission, and will automatically do so if you associate with known abusers (lapfox, glitchedpuppet, 4lung, etc). please consider, for your own safety, whether this is a safe idea.- we reserve the right to change our commission prices at any time, and discounts/refunds will not be permitted if those prices lower past what you paid in the past.- discounts will be provided on some commissions based on what a system member enjoys + excels at drawing/designing, as well as during possible events, such as holidays.- mechas aren't exactly in our wheelhouse, but we're open to drawing them so long as stylization/possible simplification is welcome and permitted.- no humans (sorry, just not interested!)- harassment will not be tolerated, and if any happens we reserve the right to cancel the commission, refund , and blacklist the client. this includes, but is not limited to: ableism, sexual harassment, flirtation ( including pet names such as "sweetie, cutie, etc" please god this sets us off so bad).- violations of our TOS will result in blacklisting.yes, we do NSFW!- but selectively. not every system member is interested or comfortable in making that kind of content, and we want to respect that. here's specific rules towards that: - you MUST be 18+ to order any NSFW commissions, regardless of state, country, etc. failure to provide verification if asked will result in blacklisting.- no noncon, feral, watersports/scat, underage, macro/micro based violence, or general depictions of suffering/distress please - body horror, (stylized) gore, WG/TF, pinups, and general NSFW are all welcome! please ask if you're unsure about whether certain content is appropriate for our commissions.*
